I want to inform the management of New Haven Funding of the refreshingly positive experience I had with your company, all due to the efforts of Priscilla Alfaro.

I called your company as a result of a mass mailing I received.  I was in the process, and I had begun the process of remediation with another company. Within that process, a couple of “red flags” gave me pause as to whether or not I should proceed with them. Having never heard of New Haven Funding I was hesitant to call, but I made the call anyway and I was connected with Priscilla Alfaro. I gave her all the pertinent information as to what I was trying to accomplish, and why I became suspicious and hesitant to proceed. Ms. Alfaro took the time to listen carefully, asked a few pertinent questions about my situation. She expressed concern about something she recognized in the structure of my agreement with the other company relating to the amount of bills I had and how their approach might not be in my best interest.

What Priscilla saw was something she could only know, understand, and assert because of her professional experience. This was communicated to me not in a way that denigrated the other company, but in terms of what she saw as downsides from my perspective. Priscilla took an empathetic position on my behalf, and then worked up two possible approaches she could offer. My objective was to end the cycle of “interest only” paying of credit card bills that would go on forever, and do it with minimal damage to my credit rating. 

Within the two scenarios she laid out, one was going to affect my credit, but to a far less degree than the direction I was heading with the first company.  The second scenario would be a far better way to go in terms of preserving my credit rating, but at that point we didn’t know if my financial position would preclude my qualification. It was from there that we proceeded. I am happy to tell you that I have been approved for funding to erase my credit card bills, and get on a track where there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

This is all because Priscilla Alfaro took the time, and expended the energy and her professional wisdom in a way that PUT HER CUSTOMER FIRST. She is an incredible breath of fresh air!

I was expecting to get someone on the phone reading from a script, unable to answer a question, possibly in a heavy accent I would have a hard time with, and with a lot of background noise. 

My experience was as far from that as one could imagine.

In this day and age, and in the current business climate where mediocrity or worse is a common expectation, New Haven Funding should consider itself fortunate to have a person like Priscilla Alfaro on its staff. She conducted this whole process with professional skill, demeanor, dexterity, and courtesy and left me a not only satisfied, but impressed.  You have a gem of an employee in her.
